Q&A

Question: How did you get so good at the game?

I think my understanding of economics is most beneficial to me on here.  If you can get good at trading horses to make a profit, you can make passes and equus.  With those things (equus/passes) you can make more trades to make more, and/or you can become a useful member/leader in a breeding group.

The simple idea is to look at sales, and figure out what one typse of horse it worth.  By doing this, you can determine if a horse is under, or over valued.  In the future, if you see an undervalued horse in sales (something selling cheap based on your knowledge), you can buy it, and then sell it at a higher price, or at a more accurate price, based on your previous value of the type of horse, or breed, of uni, GA..ect.

To figure out what something is worth, you can do a sales search to look at horses that are similar to the one you are thinking of buying.  By doing this you will see the high and the low for the breed.

There are many other things that help to get ahead in the game, but this is one of the more straight forward concepts that any player can employ.
Many of the other strategies have a much higher risk, but they will also have a higher payout if things swing in my favor.

Welcome to my blog!
The purpose of this blog is to give other players a place to chat, and learn more about the game.  I am proud to say that I have never bought a single pass with real money.  I am confident that if anyone puts some effort into the game that they too can be successful.  I'm positive that with a few tips you will go far.
Feel free to ask any questions, or to request a topic.  Join me on my Howrse adventure!  And be sure to pick up some profits along the way :)
